Niko Nikoladze

The performance tells the story of the great Georgian reformer Niko Nikoladze.

Through puppet theater, young audiences are introduced to Niko's childhood, his passion for knowledge, and the education he received in Europe. As the story progresses, we see how these experiences shaped his vision for the development of his homeland.

A significant part of the performance focuses on Poti, a small and modest port town. Through Nikoladze's efforts, this town transforms into a modern and vibrant city. On stage, puppets bring to life construction sites, ships, workers, and the many challenges that come with new ideas.

The audience witnesses Nikoladze's struggle to build infrastructure and improve people's living conditions; his resistance against old ways of thinking, bureaucracy, and poverty.

In the final scene, Niko leaves a powerful message for the audience:
