Until They Fall Out
Yapı Tiyatro
The same cemetery. Two different times. Two siblings.
In one scene, they are ten years old — they have just lost the family cat. In the other, they are in their late twenties, this time saying goodbye to their father. These two stories may seem unrelated at first glance, yet they tell the same truth through different faces: in the face of loss, we hold on to whoever stands beside us.
Two siblings who constantly bicker, who love each other but rarely know how to show it — find themselves becoming each other's greatest support in the middle of grief. Moving back and forth between childhood and adulthood in sharp, unexpected shifts, the play makes you laugh and ache in the same breath.
The younger sibling's last resort — "Fine, stay mad at me forever!" — says it all. These two could never truly stay apart. Because siblinghood grows in the space between arguments, and some bonds, no matter how stretched, never break.
