Using processes of deterioration as sites of investigation for embodiment, Gut rot creates a landscape where the body struggles between control and non-control. It sheds light on the deviant nature of fermentation, the melding of decomposition and regeneration, and how to luxuriate through life’s cycle. It is consistently ripening, perpetually unfurling, incessantly rotting, and repeating through this cycle with insistence, fervor, and curiosity.
