Olga, Masha and Irina and their brother and sister live in a provincial town in the north of Russia, where they have arrived due to the transfer of their general father. Longing for Moscow, the sisters are the favourites of the officers who make up the elite of the city with the parties they throw at their home. However, this seemingly attractive life actually makes them unhappy. With the differentiation of the life and values they are accustomed to, Moscow has become a more distant city than it is, where the feeling of being stuck somewhere permeates people, where the past is replaced by the future and all hopes are shattered by hitting the buildings of this small town.
